“This is the BEST day. What are we going to do next Tuesday?” Ahh, yes!
Tonight The Bee welcomed families to the hive for a basics class and WOW did we ever have FUN!!! Moms and dads and kids, fabric and needle and thread, scissors and stuffing and giggles and . . . . . . MONSTERS!
Getting started
Kids gathered around the goodies table to choose shapes and fabric while parents threaded needles. Together, they decided about eyes and mouth, hair or no hair, then began cutting, pinning and stitching.
Working together
Hive members buzzed around the tables to offer helpful hints and it wasn’t long before blouses and sweat pant shorts, felt and fake fur morphed into creatures of unique and glorious monsterousness.
